Event Producer, Ryan Trowbridge says, “My dad loved to laugh.” So it seems only fitting in an event dedicated to his dad, Rod, that some laughter be included in the event as well! Returning to Wichita from his past appearances at Wheatland Jam, Comedian Butch Lord hosts the exciting festivities taking place during the day! And don’t let those rough, brawny looking appearances fool ya! Lord’s hard, edgy look is quickly softened by his carefree and lighthearted view of himself and the world around him. His genuine enthusiasm for performing, and his obvious passion for making people laugh shine through brilliantly and endear him to all audiences!
While the Rod Trowbridge Memorial Cook Airfield Fly-In is intended as a commemorative celebration, it's also a great destination of entertainment for the entire community! Check out our live music throughout the event!

And while we mourn the passing of our loved one, we celebrate the life of Rod Trowbridge, inviting everyone to join in the fun, memories, entertainment and a full day of community, events and festivities!
We also invite anyone that endured a loss this past year, to join in our celebration. If you would like to memorialize your loved one as well, please feel free to post your own commemoration to be included in the festivities.
